This month we rolled out automated search engine indexing, a dedicated support hub, and made checkout faster and the admin dashboard more usable on mobile.
We now automatically submit your sitemap to Google and other major search engines. When you add new products or pages, search engines are notified directly so your content gets discovered and indexed faster. No manual submissions, no waiting around for crawlers to find your updates on their own.
We have launched a new help center with documentation, phone, text, and live chat support. You can access it directly through your WordPress admin dashboard. Whether you need help with a feature, have a question about your site, or want to report an issue, our support team is available through whichever channel works best for you.
We have made significant improvements to the mobile view of the admin dashboard. Navigation, order management, and product editing are all more usable on phones and tablets now, so you can manage your store on the go without fighting the interface.
Checkout now includes address autocomplete. As customers start typing their address, suggestions appear and auto-fill the full street, city, state, and zip. This reduces typos, speeds up the checkout flow, and cuts down on failed deliveries from bad addresses.
We have substantially reduced the checkout page load time. The page now loads faster with fewer scripts blocking the initial render, so customers get to the payment step quicker.
A number of bug fixes and stability improvements across the platform, including fixes to edge cases in order processing, improved error handling, and general reliability improvements under load.
We are building out a dedicated analytics solution to give you better visibility into your store performance. We are also developing a local rank tracker to help you monitor where you show up in search results in your area.
